Looking for a companion/buddy/caregiver for our adult son with Autism in Decatur (approximately 10 mins from Emory and downtown Decatur). Ideal match should enjoy being physically active and the outdoors; have good communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain a stimulating, supportive and safe environment while modeling and providing mentorship when engaged in daily activities and interests. Our ideal match should also have a fair amount of patience and empathy with the ability to positively redirect when necessary. Our son is upbeat, pleasant, eager to learn and to engage in various activities. He enjoys track, swimming, going to the gym, gardening and cars to name a few.
