**Job Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient individual to assist with the care of a joyful 12-year-old girl who has Cerebral Palsy. She is an outgoing, happy child who loves playing on her iPad and enjoys laughing. The ideal candidate will be someone who can provide supportive care while maintaining a positive and uplifting environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Diaper Changing:** Assist with changing diapers as needed throughout the day. - **Feeding:** Help with meal preparation and feeding. - **Bathing:** Assist with bathing and personal hygiene. - **Mobility Assistance:** Help carry the child up a flight of stairs when needed, ensuring her safety and comfort. - **Engagement:** Spend time playing with her on her iPad, engaging her in activities that encourage laughter and enjoyment. - **General Care:** Provide general assistance with daily tasks while maintaining a cheerful and supportive atmosphere. **Skills and Qualities:** - Patience and understanding when working with children with disabilities. - Ability to provide gentle and respectful physical care. - A positive, uplifting attitude to match her energetic, joyful personality. - Reliability and punctuality. - Experience or willingness to learn about Cerebral Palsy and how to provide appropriate care. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to safely assist with lifting and carrying the child (currently 65 pounds) up and down stairs. - Comfort with providing physical support, such as diaper changes and bathing. **Additional Information:** This position offers the opportunity to work with a wonderful, fun-loving child who loves to laugh and enjoy life.
