About the job
My partner and I are seeking a caring and reliable live-in nanny for our three boys, two of whom have high-functioning autism and are speech delayed. The position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Responsibilities include picking them up from school and their respective center, preparing meals, assisting with baths, and getting them dressed for bed. Our 11-year-old is self-sufficient and only requires occasional adult supervision. The ideal candidate is kind, patient, loving, and trustworthy, with experience working with children, especially those with special needs. Additional duties include light housekeeping (cleaning up after the children), assisting with homework, story time, and other tasks as needed. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is punctual, engaging, and has reliable transportation with a clean driving history. In addition to a rewarding experience, the nanny will enjoy a spacious basement apartment with a private bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen.
