About the job
Looking for part-time caregiver for my 17-year-old son with autism and intellectual disabilities. He is a happy go lucky guy with a passion for music, coloring, and cooking. He does have some behavioral issues that aren't too severe and is limited verbal - but can communicate via assistive device and typing. Will hire more than one caregiver- please consider applying if a subset of the hours work for you. Looking for after school support for him ~3:30-7:30 as well as weekend support Saturdays and Sundays for ~7 hours/day (every other weekend is in Manchester with his father). Funding is through state programs. History of working with special needs individuals is ideal but not required. Please note that we have dogs and cats. Thanks for considering us!
