Current opportunities & job details:
full- or part-time, hours on Mondays through Fridays,
hourly pay rates $19-$24 (classification: hourly, non-exempt)

reports to: BCBA
essential functions:
maintain respect for & confidentiality of all clients, including keeping all client information confidential
maintain & protect the wellbeing of all clients
responsible for providing direct therapy / behavioral intervention in 1:1 sessions with clients ranging in age from 18 months to 21 years who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other special needs
adhering to all procedures, as outlined
implementation of individualized goals, programs, and checklists (as trained), including an individualized Treatment Plan, as written and directed by the case supervisor
implementation of skills-based treatment, including teaching communication, tolerance, and cooperation to clients under challenging contexts, while maintaining client safety and dignity
completion of daily program data and maintenance of necessary documentation
participation in training on an ongoing basis
professional interaction with clients, parents, colleagues, and others
Job requirements:
high school diploma
demonstration of thorough understanding of skills learned during required trainings
mobility: ability to move from seated to standing position as the desires of the client mandate, to circulate for extended periods of time, and to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
communication: ability to communicate so that others can clearly understand normal conversation, and to hear and understand spoken English at normal conversational volume
vision: sufficient visual acuity/processing ability to: read laws and codes, rules and policies, and other printed matter, and to observe clients
