About the job
Seeking caregiver for 13yr old son with autism & ADHD. He is low-verbal, hard to engage, has a sense of humor at times, does not read or write much but does enjoy having books read to him. He mostly likes watching TV, but it is important to get him doing other things. He enjoys swimming in our swim spa (& you are welcome to join him), swinging, and climbing on the back yard playset. We work full time so we need a very reliable 3:30 arrival time to get him from the school driver, into the house, fed a snack/dinner, and engaged with until 6:30 p.m. Four evenings per week, he has home therapy for 45 mins so you would be the "adult supervision" and available to help therapist. You must be patient, kind, and punctual. Autism experience a big plus. $21. 81-$25. 29/hr, agency paid, pick your preferred day(s), you pick the times/durations weekends.
