About the job
Live-out or live-in, part or full-time home care needed for my sweet and gentle nonverbal 30 yr-old son, diagnosed with epilepsy and autism. Responsibilities include companionship, cooking healthy meals, assisting with feeding, toileting, showering & dressing, light housework, & driving to activities. My son is a mellow guy who enjoys going for walks, listening to music and being read to. Occasional overnights are needed. Salary will be determined by experience. Experience providing full care is required. Applicant must be in good physical shape as my son is at risk of falling from seizures. He is 5' and about 100lbs. Seizure training will be provided. Experience with nonverbal individuals, autism or seizures is a plus, but not mandatory. Nonsmokers only.
