About the job
Live-in home care needed for my sweet and gentle nonverbal 30 yr-old son, diagnosed with epilepsy and autism. Responsibilities include companionship, cooking healthy meals, assisting with feeding, preparing healthy meals, toileting, showering & dressing, light housework, & driving to activities. My son is a mellow guy who enjoys going for walks, listening to music and being read to. Minimum daily hours needed are listed. Additional hours will be needed some mornings, evenings and overnights. Salary will be determined at a daily rate. Experience providing full care is required. Applicant must be in good physical shape as my son is at risk of falling. He is 5' and about 100lbs. Experience with nonverbal individuals and seizures is a plus, but not mandatory. Training will be provided. Nonsmokers only.
