About the job
Fun 13-year-old non-verbal boy with disability seeking an equally bright and creative part time nanny and aide to help at home, camp, and at school classes. He is adorable and super sweet but can't walk well or talk. He needs someone who can assist him with transfers (100 lbs) and who can change diapers, too. He can bear weight and walk a little bit... so you don't need to carry him around, but you do need to be strong and energetic! We are looking for someone loving, affectionate and HIGH energy. And able to engage him in a meaningful way. Tasks include integrating disabled students into all aspects of the regular education classroom, facilitating learning, and social interactions. Must be a pro-active self-starter! Schedule is flexible; start about 15 hours a week and could grow as you become more comfortable; 5'6 minimum height.
