E is an adventurous and joyful kindergartener who loves riding the J train and exploring local parks. The family is looking for a dedicated caregiver to support him with his after-school and home routines. E communicates using an AAC device with touch chat programming, as he does not currently use verbal language. Caregivers will need to offer gentle reminders for essential activities such as using the restroom, eating, and staying hydrated, as E may not always clearly express his needs or wants. He requires assistance with both fine and gross motor skills, and ensuring his safety is paramount. He needs help navigating stairs and must have his hand held while walking outside. The role will also involve support with school and therapy pick-ups and drop-offs, light housekeeping tasks (e. g., snack prep, tidying up, assisting with children's laundry, loading the dishwasher), and maintaining a safe environment.
