About the job
Looking for a part-time caregiver for our Teen family member with Down Syndrome in Menlo Park. My son is a great guy and we just need someone who will keep him engaged until we can get home from work. An afternoon typically would entail meeting his bus at our house (exact time TBD) , helping him unpack his lunch and pack a new one for the next day. Possibly guiding him through a light chore like emptying the dishwasher or folding his laundry. Other ideas include taking him on a walk, to the duck pond, outside to play basketball, to a park, or simply engaging him in conversation, games or any other projects/interests that seem intriguing. Basically I don't want him on his iPad all afternoon! He's a kind, funny, positive guy who thrives with structure and good relationships. Ideal match will meet the requirements below..
