About the job
My child requires an in-class aid to work with him 1:1 during his school day. He is currently dealing with some anxiety issues which are caused by various triggers during the school day. Most notably, this has led to his unhappiness at school. It's also led to a significant drop in performance and situations that have led the school to send him home from the day on multiple occasions. We are working on this in partnership with the school and hoping to find a candidate that has experience working with children dealing with anxiety issues. The ideal candidate would be able to observe him throughout the day, identify triggers, and help him to work through the anxiety as it arises so he can safely re-integrate with the class day. This requires the candidate to be available for the full school day (8:15 a.m. - 3:15pm).
