About the job
Looking for an experience nanny for regular after school. Experience with autistic children is a must. Some college is preferred. Our son is 5-year-olds, Autistic and a very active child. We moved back to California last spring and have had less than good luck with qualified centers. Our last nanny got a new job when we got he got into a new program but unfortunately that program only lasted a week. We appreciate someone that can put together their own an afterschool schedule. School pick up is 2 p.m. We work from home; we are ok him coming home to practice workbooks or going out after school to get the wiggles out. He is very active and becomes very stimulated in his hyperactivity so we need someone who is also active and able to keep up with him. $20 / hr to start. ASAP We have two younger children as well and would love to be able to trust someone with all 3 for date nights. Being active and outside, or inside and learning. Fairly healthy people, no smokers. Family of 5. 2 girls and our son. 2 big dogs. Our son is kindergarten, which means is he very special needs. He is level 2 autistic, he seeks a lot of help on his social and playing abilities with other kids. Experience with autistic children, preferably the younger ages. Experience with hyperactive children. OT experience. Boxer and Shepard.
