About who needs care: She has difficulty moving around due to lack of muscle strength, and bad osteoarthritis. She needs to exercise with help. She has some memory issues, and a kidney disorder, so getting her to drink lots of water every day is imperative. She is sweet and funny, and enjoys the company of others, but also enjoys her alone time. She needs assistance with dressing, showering, and using the bathroom. But, she is still able to use the bathroom independently. She just needs help getting there safely, and needs help pulling up her pants. She needs someone who can make all of her meals for her, and try to get her to eat enough food, and make sure it is nutritious. She needs someone to clean up for her as well. For example, dishes, laundry, bed making. She needs help with reminding her to take her medications in the morning and evening. And to also take her vitamins in the morning. She needs someone who can try to keep her on a regular schedule by waking her in the morning, and getting her into bed at a good time. The only help she needs in the middle of the night is when she has to use the restroom. We like to have her get ahold of her support, so they can be there to make sure she doesn't fall in middle of the night when she has to use the restroom, or to help her change if she has an accident. She only has number one accidents. We are also looking for someone who can help take her to appointments (hair, nails, doctor, etc). And we would love someone who could help get her out of the house to be social. About the care needs: She needs someone who is very kind, gentle, good sense of humor, upbeat, sweet, cheery, caring, protective, fairly strong, dependable, honest, outgoing, but also knows when she needs her alone time. She would do best with someone who helps, motivate her to be a healthier version of herself by making sure that she is exercising, staying on a healthy schedule, taking all medications, drinking enough water, eating enough food, and making sure that food is nutritious, and someone who will help her occasionally get out of the house for adventures, drives, and walks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
