About who needs care: Mother has dementia. Just had a hip replaced. Currently completing in patient nursing home rehab. Has restricted movement requirements sure to hip surgery. For example , can't got to the restroom/get out of bed unattended. Restrictions lasting until apx. April 2. To go the only 2 caregivers breaks, We are searching for someone to sit with her in her room who can ensure she stays in bed and can simply call the nurses for assistance when she needs it. For example, if she needs to use the restroom, this helper would use the nurse call button... due to moms dementia she cannot recall to do this and would just try to get out on her own. Helper perhaps can encourage some of her games to keep her busy as well if applicable (all craft items would be provided). About the care needs: Patience is the best attribute of this helper as mom will ask the same questions over and over. Services needed include: companionship.
