Help needed for my father who is 75 years old with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and cancer - seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing and dressing is one of our requirements, he also has a catheter. Additional responsibilities include light meal preparation (mostly getting him set-up with breakfast). Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Duties include transportation to exercise class, and assist during exercise class (Rock Steady boxing for individuals with Parkinson's Disease). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with a pet cat (who is friendly) and CPR / first-aid trained.
