About who needs care: Dementia (diagnosed 5 years ago) Very confused most of the time Homebound Widowed Needs help with just about everything but can still toilet himself. Needs hearing aids Needs companionship and someone who is willing to take him out of the house for a meal (or other activity) from time to time About the care needs: Male or female, no preference Older caregiver (50's or 60s) is probably better, but not a requirement Sense of humor Take charge attitude He has no real hobbies or interests at this point in his disease. My dad needs someone who is willing to try and keep him on the "straight and narrow". Survive daily life with dementia. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
