About who needs care: He's just getting old. He had a mini stroke last night and we want someone with him 24/7. He fell 3 times in the past week. No injuries, but he's stubborn about accepting he needs to always use his walker! He enjoys watching TV, reminiscing about mom Who passed away 3 yrs ago after 60 yrs of marriage and he's lived in the same house since he was born, so he has lots of stories! He is a kind gentle man who only complains when he's in A LOT of. pain. His sleep is irregular, but I want to make sure he eats at least a little something for breakfast and lunch. He needs to shower every few days ideally every day as he always enjoyed starting his day clean. The shower is upstairs and he just needs someone to make sure he gets up there safely then sit outside while he showers. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, happy, patient and a very good listener. No special skills or hobbies/interests. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
