About who needs care: Recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's-only symptom is memory loss Can move around- walks with a walker Lives in senior community - independent living level Can do most things for herself Sleeps late Needs more physical activity and social interaction No other chronic health issues About the care needs: My mom will be most comfortable with a woman around 40-60 . She currently has a hired companion and that is working out.. she needs more care for hygiene, companionship and light housework, She does not agree she needs more help so aligning more as company than an aide is our approach.. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
