About who needs care: My Dad has mobility issues needs help getting up to his walker, but can use his walker to get where he needs to go. May need some help in the bathroom and will need some help showering. He has dementia and this is especially present during the night - displays a lot of confusion. May need to be redirected to get back into bed if he gets up and walks around. He also has diabetes which needs to be monitored. He likes to read and watch TV and he likes to talk with people. he recently broke his arm from a fall at home and has been in rehab ever since then. About the care needs: It would be great if we had a caregiver that was very positive and energetic. The caregiver should have some strength in case my dad needs to be helped up to his walker and back down into bed or a chair. It would be great if the caregiver had some nursing background because of his diabetes and sundowning from dementia. Ideally, it would be great if the person had faith in God. I'm really looking for someone who could be there at night into the morning. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
