About who needs care: Obesity; edema; incontinence; congestive heart failure; lymphedema; She takes lasix diuretic early in the day so has a few hours of pretty often visits to the bathroom. Otherwise she would like to have some time for exercise and PT if possible (not necessary) as well as a shower once a week minimum. She uses a sera steady at home to go to the bathroom but is open to working with someone to use the wheelchair and walker (but she is a little unsteady). At night looking for some help getting settled in her recliner or bed. Hobbies include painting, bridge, reading the Bible, cooking and baking, spending time with her grandchildren. About the care needs: We're looking for someone caring, trustworthy, competent, reliable, friendly, strong, and hardworking! No specialized skills required but ability to use a steady would be helpful; our father currently helps her but he is getting older and not able to help like he used to. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
