Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Greendale

We need companion care for my mother in Greendale who is in the middle stage of Alzheimer's. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction for 1-3 hours a week at her senior living apartment. You would facilitate and participate in an activity with her such as coloring, painting, or doing some type of art project. We may also want you to drive her to/from potential daytime activities/events in the nearby area (arts and crafts type of activities, plays, or musicals) and stay with her at the activity/event. She isn't interested in most of the activities offered by the senior living residence so she's bored and thinks of where she lives as a "jail". We're hoping that by participating in activities she enjoys on a more regular basis, she will have a more pleasant outlook.
