About who needs care: Dad has slow progressing Parkinson's. We have caregiver who is in the house with dad (95) and mom (91) from 4 p.m. to midnight to make dinner get dad his evening med (Quetiapine) and make sure he gets to bed and stays in bed. He sometimes tries to get up after midnight to use the bathroom and is having more difficulty getting up and getting to the bathroom safely due to sleepiness and his med - this is where we may need some extra help. About the care needs: compassionate, patient, and caring. Mom has short-term memory issues and at times is impatient with dad. Caregiver would need to know how to deal with this. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
