Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Yakima

About who needs care: My mom is pretty independent but needs a little help. She has hearing aids but still trouble hearing, she uses a cane or walker to get around the house, she is diabetic, she takes 9 medications per day. She gets up about 6:00 a.m. - Here ideal day is having cereal or bagel for breakfast about 6:30 or 7:00 after she tests her blood. She likes to get dressed about 9:00. She takes naps in her chair. She has regular tv shows she watches and does crossword puzzles. She eats her lunch at 12:00 after checking her blood. She eats her dinner at 4:30 or 5:00. She wears a depends at night so she does not have to try to get out of bed. She is afraid of the shower but would enjoy a daily sponge bath to ensure she is clean, especially her bottom. I am her daughter (Christi) and I live in La Conner. I come to visit every 2-3 weeks for 4 days. I would love to have someone helping her each day, and she will let you know what she would like help with that day. About the care needs: Someone that enjoys elderly people, someone who helps her feel comfortable while changing cloths, using the restroom, bathing. She is very easy to be around but set in her ways and routines. She is a loner but likes to have me or someone around so she does not feel alone. Does not need to continually talk, she likes to watch her shows. Someone who can talk loud enough for her to hear. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
