Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Washougal

About who needs care: Recently had a stroke, is mobile but needs assistance with dressing and eating. Is able to talk fine, just loses words sometimes. Her right hand is her dominant hand and was the one affected by the stroke. She likes to watch TV. She used to like to read but is not really able to do that anymore. She does have cats, four cats, so no one with cat allergies. Her vision is poor unless its bright but she has glaucoma and macular degeneration so she also doesn't like the lights on. Its weird I realize. About the care needs: She likes genology so anyone who is into that would be great. A patient person is necessary. My mother can be difficult to work with. She wants everything her way, even if that way doesn't work so it can be really easy to get into an argument with her about silly things. She was like that before the stroke so its not a new personality trait. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
