About who needs care: My husband has ALS. I would like someone to sit with him one day a week (flexible) so I can do errands and have some alone time. His typical day is breakfast, nap/tv, lunch, nap/tv About the care needs: He's a very kind man. He is able to relieve himself but would need the person to dump his urinal. He is difficult to understand and requires someone with patience in listening. Services needed include: companionship. Please Note: You must be trained by and registered with CDWA. This requires a 70-hour (mostly online) training course and membership in the SEIU. SEIU pays for the training, and you are paid for your time taking the course.
