About the job
Hi, we are looking for a caretaker for my dad. He is 90 years old, cognitively fine, but must use a walker. I moved in with my dad and have been here for about 8 weeks. My Dad enjoys his schedule: up at 7am-I fry 1 egg and toast. 12pm-I heat soup or microwave meal. 5pm-I heat another microwave meal, otherwise he watches TV in his recliner. I prepare/clean all meals, feed his small sweet dog breakfast, dinner, and let her out. I have been working from home downstairs but bc he is unsteady, I'm having a greater time focusing on work, worrying he may fall. We need someone here to do these tasks and watch over him. My sister and I live only 6 minutes from my dad, and we both work from home but he really needs someone to watch and ensure he uses his walker.
