About the job
Seeking hands-on care near Redmond for my parents in his 80s who are coming to visit for 2 weeks. I'll be generally around but not always, as I might take one parent on outings etc. Caregiver must have experience with Alzheimer's, since one parent has mild Alzheimer's and one is more progressed. Caregiver must also be willing to walk up to 2 miles/day with Mom and read her poetry/children's stories. Parents need help with all ADLs but are still mobile (no heavy lifting). Must have your own transportation. We have 2 cats and are a non-smoking house. Exact schedule is TBD. If you can only work part of the time, please still apply but let me know your availability. For the right candidate, we might arrange to split shifts or do alternate days.
