About who needs care: Sometime between 10-2 is the best time for service. We are looking at house cleaning ( he keeps up week so clean in general). Check in to see if he needs anything. He can drive and devises are close so he doesn't need much help with shopping and such. We want someone just checking in. Maybe checking drive for old food, making a dinner or lunch or sandwiches for the next day. Talking to him. His wife of 45 years passed away 6 months ago so he is still adjusting. My sister that lives close is out of town for two months so wanted check ins. Would want this to continue even after she returns. I am his oldest daughter visiting for a month. I leave July 10. My daughter has used this site for many's in the past and highly recommends it. About the care needs: They should have patience and understanding of elderly. He is a little hard if hearing and has some slight memory decline. He has a good sense of humor and likes people. He needs a things repeated sometimes. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
