About the job
Daily care for a cognitively astute elderly man at home. Care is not overnight but we would need mornings (930-130) on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday. We have care for other days. My mother will also be present and can assist as needed and able. Care tasks: Personal care for incontinence, bathe/dressing assist, safe transfers into Wheel chair and back (as required). About the care needs: Need to be able to assist with rotation/sitting up in bed and maybe transfers from bed to wheelchair. Need someone fairly strong, communicative, encouraging/patient. Home health with PT may be in home concurrently intermittently while you are present. Duration: One month initially. Any Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday care weekly. Potential for duration to continue for additional months.
