No dementia Is a retired newspaper editor & college professor. Is a writer. Uses his computer. Loves baseball. Follows sports & politics. Prefers a male caregiver. To use long-term insurance, need to have a certified CNA or licensed caregiver. A strong Democrat good sense of humor About the care needs: Compassionate, kind, sense of humor, intelligent. Good hearing, because Parkies have soft voices. Needs to be strong - John used to 6'2", is shorter now but weighs 2015-2020. Still has long legs and arms. Has balance problems so must use a walker to move. Prefers a male, to talk sports and politics, esp. baseball We don't need a nurse, but he needs help showering. because of balance issues.
