About who needs care: I think she really needs help over the weekend. She has had a stroke and needs help with getting food, light housework, laundry, and it would be great for her to go out for a walk (she's in a wheelchair). Her speech is a little difficult to understand. She needs help getting from her wheelchair to anything else. About the care needs: Patience! No special skills needed! My mom was a professional musician and a very creative person and not at all practical. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
