About who needs care: I enjoy playing Bingo, listening to music that takes me back to happy memories, and watching my favorite shows on TV. I am diabetic, have Alzheimer's Dementia, and am on the backend of healing from a fall 5 months ago.
My ideal day structure would be to wake up between 8am-9 a.m. and eat a hot breakfast. Then watch some TV and do some walking. Then take a nap before lunch. And after lunch play some Bingo. After Bingo, I like to take one more nap before supper time.
About the care needs: I need someone with patience who is a good listener.
They need to be trained in fall avoidance, diabetes management, Alzheimer's dementia and physical daily activities.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
