Companion Care Needed For My Father In Mukilteo

About who needs care: My father has dementia; he struggles find his words and has comprehension issues, but it really depends on the day how well he does. He's physically able but no longer drives. He lives with his wife who does not have dementia and needs a break a few days a week and needs help with some chores around the house. So ideally, we're looking for someone who would come and take my dad out of the house for an activity, such as walking at a park or the mall depending on weather. Running errands with him, getting groceries etc.. And then helping around the house, maybe prepping a meal they can warm up later. I'm thinking a four-hour shift, two out of the house if possible and two helping at home. We are trying this for a while to see if it will help, he doesn't have to move to assisted living. He's very friendly and likes to be around people. he likes to go to the center in Mukilteo, so that could be another activity, or perhaps the senior center for an activity. About the care needs: Because of his comprehension and possibly hearing issues, it would be best to have someone who's English is easily understood and heard. Someone outgoing and willing to make suggestions that will help him with his heath and daily living. If they are willing to do housecleaning, that would be a bonus, but we can find someone else to do that. The main thing is someone comfortable with the elderly. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
