About who needs care: My son Mike is a disabled 55-year-old. He is on medicaid. He is diabetic and on dyalisis 3 times a week. He needs care in between his treatment times. He likes video games and certain tv shows. he likes to ride his electric wheelchair to the store and around the neighbor hood whenever he can. A caregiver is paid by the state of program. About the care needs: Mike is basiclly non ambulatory. He is able to walk a short distant to the bath room etc. He feeds himself but does not prepare his food. He needs help dressing and bathing etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
