About who needs care: Dad is 82 and needs Assistance with stroke recovery complicated by existing Parkinson's. He has in-home PT, OT, and speech therapy. My mom is 74 and is trying to help him all on her own and she is going to burn out. He needs assistance moving about the house and all his activities of daily living. About the care needs: Patient but firm. Understanding of a dry sense of humor. Ability to convince my mother to leave the house every now and then. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
