Position: Caregiver Location: Edmonds, WA Schedule: One day per week (Tuesday or Thursday), 6-hour shift Pay: $22-$25/hour Responsibilities: Provide personalized in-home care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Monitor clients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in physical or mental condition, and communicating any concerns to the care team or family Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe lifting techniques are followed Implement care plans, including dementia care practices and behavior management as needed Foster a warm, supportive environment by building strong relationships with clients and their families Respect and uphold residents' rights, maintaining their dignity and ensuring compassionate care at all times Help with light housekeeping duties related to the client's care Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, contributing to their overall well-being What We're Looking For: Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience Current Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred Knowledge of dementia care principles and behavior management techniques is a plus Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks, including taking vital signs Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others Must be able to lift clients safely when required and assist with mobility challenges Familiarity with resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity in care practices is essential Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Why Join Us?
