About who needs care: Dad has alzheimers. He is a sweetheart, but generally doesn't do much most days. Mom has been falling. I got her a walker, which she is using and PT is coming in to help her gain strength back. Her memory is failing and sometimes she forgets to take her pills. About the care needs: We are looking for a kind, smiling, honest person who loves old people and will become mom and dad's advocate. It would be great to have someone who can drive and who can take my dad for a drive or my mom to doctor's appointments from time to time. My folks are very sweet people. They are hesitant to try having someone come help them, so a nice person with great intentions would be awesome! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
