About who needs care: This is an in-home care giver position for an individual with early onset Alzheimer's. 8-10 hours/week Tues, Weds, Thurs is the typical week. Hours are flexible between 9am-3 p.m. Ideal candidate would be in the healthcare field, able to bike ride, kayak and go for walks. He needs companionship, physical activity, assistance with dressing, personal care and meal preparation. In addition to biking, walking and kayaking he also enjoys art and short trips. Ability to drive is a plus, but not required.
Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
