Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Bellingham

About who needs care: Acute aphasia, accelerating dementia, significant to severe arthritis, rotator cuff in both shoulders, balance issues, skeletal fragility, artificial right hip, GERD. Mom loves the earth sciences (especially geology and volcanology), mythology, and history. She loves looking at rocks, going to museums and galleries, and being in nature, though she is no longer able to walk very far. I'm not really sure what an ideal day would look like for her. About the care needs: We need someone very patient, who is familiar with people suffering from dementia who are struggling with interpersonal relationships--someone who is capable of dealing gracefully and compassionately with difficult people. Mom does not yet need to be assisted in/out of the shower or using the toilet, but that's on the horizon. She could benefit from another person in the house who is a good cook. Mom is very hard of hearing and is experiencing significant cognitive difficulties. We need someone who is able to occasionally take her shopping or on short trips in the area. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
