About who needs care: Our dad in his mid-70s has issues with anxiety/depression and Parkinsons disease though is still independent with walking and self care activities, just moves more slowly/needs extra time. He has mostly stopped driving but is still quite active and would appreciate companionship and help to stay engaged in several activities including the following: - Going out for walks (including providing a ride to nearby Lake/Park) - Grocery shopping together - Help sorting through his books and many items together in anticipation of down-sizing - Going to occasional concerts, plays, or other local events - Help maintaining/organizing his schedule, including provide rides to some of his appointments (medical or other) His hobbies include music (classical, folk, etc), learning/ speaking multiple languages, animals (he is a retired veterinarian), nature/outdoors activities, and various types of food. He lives with his wife who has helped with the above but is needing some respite and extra help.
