About who needs care: Mom has dementia and needs guidance with dressing, food prep and going to bathroom once or twice a day. Coffee in morning with toast and banana, she sits at reading table. Then lunch noonish, and potty break. Then sit in recliner and watch movie from about 2-4 p.m. About the care needs: Need Female who is kind, but somewhat firm, as mom can be stubborn refusing to go to bathroom. You just have to say we are going to the bathroom, then she will go along. She weighs 120 lbs, and needs some assistance with walking and dressing. Hardest part is just getting her down the hall to the bathroom. She can't hear well, or talk clearly, so you just need to be sympathetic, not really carry on a conversation. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing. May lead to weekly shift and more if provider is flexible.
