I am currently looking to build a team of respite care providers for my 70-year-old live in client. Care preferred in my home at this time with future potential for care to be provided in your home if desired or needed. Experience with senior care specifically cognitive/behavioral deficits and dementia as well as all aspects of self care a must. Duties include ADLs, supervision with self feeding, medication management, transfers, companionship and the ability to maintain a healthy/safe and cohesive environment. CPR/first-aid and back ground required. Hours will vary dependent on need and your availability with opportunity for as little as 3 hours to overnights or if interested lengthy periods so I am able to take a vacation. Pay is $21-$25/hr based on experience with a set rate for 24hr periods.
