About who needs care: Home Health Aide sought to provide daily, compassionate support, care and assistance to a female farmer in her late 60s living with multiple sclerosis and limited mobility. Currently, assistance is primarily sought at the start of each day for 2-3 hours. Care needed may increase overtime with need. About the care needs: Prior experience in caregiving, serving as a home health aid, personal assistant or social worker, physical trainer or therapist. Prior experience working with individuals with multiple sclerosis, a plus. Ability to check vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature. CPR certified, a plus. Ability to complete basic clerical tasks (scheduling of appointments) and to assist with basic cooking and household chores. Ability to work with utmost respect for personal privacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. A valid drivers license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
