About who needs care: My mom is 81 and has Parkinson's and memory issues, but she is still a lot of fun. She loves to paint. She loves her kitties. We live on a farm with lots of animals around, so someone has to be ok with animals. She sleeps until 10 or so and has a quite morning usually. She has a small apartment within our house, so she sees us come and go a lot during the day. She needs someone to make sure she does not fall when she is moving about (mostly in a wheelchair) and she needs assistance to transition from her chair to the couch etc. Outings can occur with she wants to go out. She watches TV, works on her paintings, takes naps, goes for walks in nicer weather, does some in home PT, and eats mainly from home. It would be great to have someone who loves music and art and animals and elderly people! About the care needs: Must be ok with dogs/cats etc. must have a sense of humor because life is a lot! love for the Rolling Stones and Art! Relaxed yet firm with having some structure because for some reason older people do not like to shower....... Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
