About who needs care: My husband has Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. He uses a walker as well as a wheelchair. I need someone to help me shower, shave and dress my husband on Monday, and Wednesday evenings. I need someone to stay with my husband on Fridays so that I can do errands/appointments. On Sunday mornings I need to have someone set with my husband so that I can attend church services. About the care needs: No specialized skills is needed at this point. Someone who has a good sense of humor and can engage in conversation. With Parkinson's my husband has a lot of pain and that dictates how well he can function on a daily basis. With the weather getting warmer he likes to take walks in his wheelchair. . Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
