About who needs care: I'm 68 and I need someone to take me to a minor surgery at Suffolk Bon Secours, wait at the hospital, then take me home to Williamsburg. I can move around without assistance, and have no conditions that I require help for. The arrival time is usually not known until the day before, but it's usually very early in the morning. About the care needs: I have an even personality, I'm curious, and I enjoy talking with most people. I'm a retired mechanical engineer. I have some loss of vision in the left eye, but it's not debilitating. The surgery is to help arrest the loss of vision. Services needed include: transportation.
