About who needs care: My mother is 96 and suffers from hallucinations stemming from macular degeneration. A neurologist has confirmed she does not have dementia but her brain is trying to fill the hole in her vision with hallucinations. So she needs someone to talk her out of the hallucinations. She also has congestive heart failure, hearing loss, and joint pain. She is very wobbly and needs to use a rollator to walk. About the care needs: We need someone who is patient, very reliable (you will show up), kind and ok with working at night. Shifts are 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
