About who needs care: She is completely sedentary with lymphedema. Lives in a chair and uses a lift to transfer to a commode during the PM shift. She is in constant pain due to various medical conditions and does not ambulate at all. She is mentally sharp. No dementia. She is very task specific and doesn't like suggestions. She is an animal lover and loves to talk about pets. About the care needs: A positive, energetic person who is kind and empathetic. Being familiar with lymphedema is a plus. Animal lover. Due to the fact that she is in pain, someone with a thick skin who doesn't take a sharp tongue personally would be ideal. Her shifts are 9 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
