About who needs care: Currently under pain management for multiple issues. Uses a walker at home, cane outside the home. Dealing with severe grief after passing of husband of 62 years. Her physical pain has been limiting any interests, but she's extremely social. My parents have a cabin in Alaska where she spends 3 months in the summer. Loves to talk about Alaska and my dad. Has a miniature dachshund names Sadie who is more of an emotional support, than a pet. I, her daughter, spend as much time there as I can as well. About the care needs: Caregiver MUST be sociable and love to talk. Help with electronics is a plus. She can pick up on a persons character instantly, so caregiver must seriously enjoy providing companionship. Needs someone to help her keep her schedule straight. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
